Vasant Panchami, sometimes referred to as Vasant Panchami or Shree Panchami is a Hindu festival celebrating Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music and art. This year's festival will be celebrated on 28 January 2012. On this day, worshiped Lord Vishnu, the god Krishna-Radha, and the goddess of learning Saraswati Mata with yellow flowers, Gulal, water tenders, incense, lamps, etc. In Puja, as per tradition, yellow and sweet rice and yellow colored Halwa victim to God and then eat as prasada.
