Justin Timberlake is having a pretty busy 2012 so far. First came the news that Elton John had chosen singer and actor to portray him in an upcoming movie, and now we learn that he is engaged to longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel. Congratulations, provided that it is true.
The couple split in three months in 2011, and when their relationship was resumed Jessica made it clear that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Justin. So late last month suggested Justin while the two were away in the mountains of Jackson, Wyoming. How sweet. And cold.
No wedding date has been set, but the two are said to be excited (in contrast to all other grumpy newly engaged couple, we guess) and Justin has "never been happier."
This means of course that we all need to strip us of an attack of dark Cameron Diaz fictional tabloid stories in the coming weeks. Maybe a little sad Britney Spears. And who knows, maybe a sad Lance Bass.
