The 24-year-old who was thrown into the spotlight on the 14-year-old when she was kidnapped at knife point by Brian David Mitchell and his wife Wanda Barzee, announced today that she plans to marry this summer.
The family refused to disclose the identity of Smart fiance that she wants to keep her personal life private, but the marriage records show that the couple will marry the first of July.

Mitchell was sentenced to life imprisonment after being convicted of kidnapping and rape in May 2011, while Barzee serve 15 years for kidnapping and unlawful transportation of a minor.
